It is practical, down-to-earth and full of helpful stories and insights for anyone who has ever asked a “God question.” I love the combination of brevity and scholarship. This is an apologetics book in overalls. Anyone can benefit from it. I believe this is the book that tens of thousands of hungry people desperately need for their spiritual journey.” Dr. Tim Elmore / Founder, GrowingLeaders.com How is The God Questions Affecting Churches? The God Questions Campaign was alpha-tested at Daybreak Community Church in Carlsbad, CA, in October, 2005. Judson Poling, author of The Journey Bible "A good question is often as important as a good answer, and The God Questions guides you through plenty of both. The authors weave winsome stories, expert quotes, relevant Scriptures and common sense into a ready reference for both committed Christians and sincere seekers."Judson Poling
Author of The Journey Bible Here’s the story of Bethany Church, Long Beach: We started by using The God Questions as training for all our short term missions teams. Many of our people were not only uncomfortable but unprepared to know how or what to talk about with people who had real questions concerning God. We have the teams read a week’s worth of chapters then meet to practice answering the questions together. It worked so well, our team members began telling their friends about it. As word got around, we started a small group Bible study with The God Questions as the main curriculum. The surprise to many was that these questions were things many long term believers have been uncomfortable with or wondered about for years! Two guys Bible studies then worked through the book. Sixteen of these guys came in and said, “I have this unbelieving friend with a ton of questions. Could I get a copy of "that book" everyone is talking about?” That is when we had to reorder our third shipment - when small group leaders of students started taking their students through the study with the idea that each student could share with one of their friends as a follow up to the study. This past week we decided to host an elective class for adults this summer. A Doctor and I will be team teaching sessions with the idea that people can put into practice what they learn through the curriculum. I am excited to see how it spreads even more as we take it to Romania, Peru, Ukraine, New Orleans, Nepal and Mexico. Thanks for all you are doing Hal; you are making a difference for the kingdom,Sincerely,Scott Foster Pastor of Missions Bethany Church, Long Beach Here’s the story of Riverside Church, Big Lake, MN: Here is a brief summary of our experience with God Questions.

Here’s a story from Heartland Christian Fellowship:
...one of our very sharp young business people has been sharing her faith and her church in her networking groups. A couple months ago a single father started attending with her and I started getting to know him. We had lunch the other day, about a week after he found out that he had a tumor in his brain. At the time, doctors thought it was benign. At lunch, I talked to him about his faith. He said he really had no basis of faith, but that he had started to read a book that this business woman had given him – The God Questions. The next day, he flew out to LA to meet a neuro-surgeon who diagnosed the tumor as malignant and scheduled Jim for surgery. Tomorrow is the day Jim has surgery out in LA. I am so glad that he has had godly people around him as he faces this challenge and that someone put a tool like The God Questions in his hand to help him think more carefully about the thing that matters most.
Hal, I want to tell that story a hundred times over. Thanks for your contribution to the kingdom and may God add His increase!______________________________________________
