Steve Foster What do you do? I help New Song accomplish its mission of helping the unchurched become fully devoted followers of Christ. Directly I oversee the staff, facility, and ministry plan (also known as the budget). What do you love about you're ministry? Each and every day I serve here, I invest in eternity. I love that I get to make a difference in our city, community, nation, and eternity. What could be better than that? How did you get involved in the ministry? A bit over 6 years ago, Hal asked me if I would like quit the company that I helped build, sell my share of ownership, and give up my company retirement plans to come work at New Song. I said no. About 9 months later, the timing, Hal, and God’s calling proved unshakable. In April of 2002 I said yes. Tell us about your family. Iva and I have been happily married for almost 17 years. The napkins at our wedding our wedding said, “Today I will marry my best friend.” That has never more true than today. Oh yeah, I may have 4 of the most amazing wonderful kids around---at least from my view. Favorite food? Pretty much anything spicy, with chicken, artichokes, olives and cheese.
